MAPSPORTS JORDAN SAMRANI TO MAKE EELS DEBUT

14 March 2025

Jordan Samrani is set to make his NRL debut for the Parramatta Eels this weekend in their match against the Wests Tigers. He has been named on the wing, replacing Jake Tago.

Samrani joined the Eels during the pre-season from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Prior to that, he made his NSW Cup debut for the Bulldogs on June 17, 2023, against the Penrith Panthers.
Throughout his NSW Cup career, Samrani has accumulated 19 appearances and scored 7 tries.

His selection comes as the Eels adjust their lineup due to injuries and suspensions, notably with Josh Addo-Carr suspended and Bailey Simonsson injured.
Head coach Jason Ryles has expressed confidence in Samrani’s abilities, highlighting his resilience in overcoming past injuries to earn his spot in the team.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 16, at CommBank Stadium in Sydney.
