MapSports Nicho Hynes has agreed to terms with the Cronulla Sharks until the end of the 2024 season. Hynes who is enjoying a breakout 2021 season has catapulted himself to the top of the charts in key areas like try assist, line break assists and tackle breaks. In the absence of seasons stars like Cam Munster and Ryan Papenhuysen, Hynes has taken control of the team as they continue to their winning ways.
in joining the Sharks Hynes said, “Its one of the hardest things I have ever done, the Melbourne Storm have been great to me, giving me a chance and providing me with the environment to get to where I am today. I will be forever grateful for that opportunity.”
Darren Mooney, senior Football Manager at the Sharks, “Nicho is a tremendous player and we are certainly excited about getting him on board for the next 3 seasons. We look forward to working with him from November this year.”
